How to memorize mathematical formulas?
Waheedullah Azizi
Most people have
problems remembering a formula, an equation, a match, a short concept, a mobile
number, and so on, to make it easier to remember. So pay attention to the
following lines and do the next exercise, so you will succeed in memorizing,
God willing!
* Before you want to memorize a mathematical problem, you
have to be calm in all aspects, because if you have stress, your mind will be
confused and you will not be able to imagine the problem well. And you will
also lose mental focus.
* Many people think that if they take a brief look at a
formula, they have learned the formula, while after 24 hours, when they wake
up, they have nothing left in their mind. In order not to forget the memorized
formula, it should be repeated at least four to six times in a 24 hour period
(every six hours or every four hours).
* Never study mathematics or memorize formulas when you are
hungry and thirsty. First solve your food and drink problem and then start
studying after relaxing.
Do the following exercise on how to memorize a math problem!
(Exercise)
(1) Relax your body, relax your muscles in every sense of
the word and close your eyes, take ten deep breaths. Now imagine a favorite
character, a favorite TV show, or a close friend. You have to repeat this idea
many times, so that your mind is fully enlightened.
(2) Now we have a small formula in mind, for example
(a ^ n. a ^ m = a ^ n + m)
Imagine, but your
eyes should be closed. In the beginning, you should read the formula from the
right side several times in your mind.
(3) Now considering the above way, consider a relatively
long formula, analogy or equation, such as the following analogy.
{(a + b) ^ 2 = a ^ 2
+ 2ab + b ^ 2
Read the above correspondence from left to right and from
right to left and yes also from right to left by memorizing formulas or
equation letters and numbers; Don't forget that long formulas or equations can
be broken down into smaller parts. If we divide the above match into two parts,
we will separate each part. For example, if we assume a ^ 2 as one part and +
2ab + b ^ 2 as the other part, then the long match will be shorter and we will
imagine Be clear and you will remember it easily.
(4) and imagine and try to memorize the formulas,
similarities, and equations of problems; But you have to practice it at least
five times. Of course, practice it first and then practice it upside down (from
right to left) so that it stays in your mind.
(5) In the process of imagining, make out the sounds of
letters and numbers. Read them aloud so that there is a piston between the word
and the sound.
(5) If you practice this exercise well, you can benefit from
memorizing all the necessary items!
Note: This symbol (^) means power. For example, if we write
(a power of two), we write it in the following form.
a ^ 2
